Seymour Railway Heritage Centre operates heritage rail trips throughout Victoria, and have been operating in Victoria for over 40 years beginning with the restoration of the steam locomotive J515.
Their itineraries include day trips, overnight and multiday trips enabling patrons to experience the regional areas of Victoria. Their tours include heritage train travel in carriages built in the early 1900’s and the 1937 Spirit of Progress. The carriages include compartment cars, dining and lounge cars as well as observation cars. Some of their trips include the carriages with end platforms primarily used in State visits enabling patrons to experience rail travel of a bygone era.
They include local sightseeing from the train as well as off train tours arranged with local tour operators.
