Brigalow Arts Festival

The Brigalow Arts Festival is an art event hosted annually in October by the Banana Shire Regional Art Gallery. It is comprised of the Banana Shire’s largest display of visual arts in an open exhibition and a professionally judged suite of art awards. Over the opening weekend these are paired with networking, development, and visual arts workshops for all arts enthusiasts.
The festival has been running for over 29 years and features a variety of art forms including fine arts, photography, digital arts, textiles, sculpture and decorative arts. The Brigalow Arts Festival is the perfect way to experience a cross-section of local arts, support artists by purchasing artworks, and experience the stories that are being told in our region. 
The Banana Shire Regional Art Gallery is operated by the Banana Shire Council.
