Songs and Storytelling with Josh Pyke

Join award-winning children’s book author and musician Josh Pyke in a live Songs and Storytelling event at State Library Victoria this coming school holidays. 
Josh will bring his award-winning book, These Long-Loved Things, to life with his signature warmth, captivating storytelling and live music, including interactive audience moments and original songs that will have children and their grown-ups singing along. The event will be a gentle celebration of memories, inviting families to reflect, laugh and connect through the stories and songs we share.  
These Long-Loved Things, has been brought to life with the help of illustrator, Ronojoy Ghosh in an installation in the Pauline Children’s Quarter.    
Stay after the performance for a wonderful opportunity to meet Josh in person and have your books signed, and create a craft celebrating Memory. 
Perfect for children aged 4 to 10 years and their families. All grown-ups must be accompanied by a child. Maximum of two grown-ups per child. A parent or carer is required to attend this event and remain with their child or children for the full duration.
