Music Masters Musical Voyage – Sydney Opera House

Experience an unforgettable afternoon of world-class orchestral music when two of America’s leading youth orchestras perform in the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House.
The 120-piece Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies from Minneapolis, Minnesota, conducted by Maestro Mark Russell Smith, joins the 40-piece Spokane Youth Symphony from Washington State, led by Dr Phillip Baldwin, for a spectacular showcase of musical excellence.
The program features beloved masterpieces by Wagner, Brahms, Haydn and Prokofiev, alongside music by Copland, John Williams and contemporary American composers. A special tribute to Australia’s servicemen and women will include performances of The Ode, The Last Post and a Lone Piper’s Lament.
