They are a local group of fibre artists who meet every Monday in the Eric and Rachel Potter Memorial Building in the grounds of the Land of the Beardies History House Museum and Research centre.
They offer free tuition in spinning, a love of creating with fibre is all that is required.
Depending on the day, they can offer guidance on many of the other fibre arts.
If you are a visitor to their beautiful town or just want to pop in for a chat and see how yarn was
created and then transformed into apparel before the Industrial Revolution, you are most welcome.
