The Murrumbidgee River

Narrandera hugs the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, home to endangered fish and aquatic species including the Murray cray, the trout cod and the Murray cod. The river plays host to all manner of activity – from fishing, boating and other water sports, to bushwalking, birdwatching and koala-spotting along the many beautiful trails in the River Red Gum reserves on the river’s edge.
