Australian Orienteering Championships 2025

The Australian Orienteering Championships is a series of 7 orienteering events on varied bushland terrain and university and school campuses in and around Brisbane.  In keeping with the theme Run the River, maps range from the upper Brisbane River at Wivenhoe, to the lazy bends around the University of Queensland campus at St Lucia. All events are within an easy drive of central Brisbane.  
Whether you are new to orienteering or a seasoned competitor, the carnival has something for you, with courses for all ages, fitness levels and navigation difficulty, from beginner to elite. Pull on your running shoes and use a map and compass to challenge yourself in this exciting outdoor sport that exercises mind and body.
