Dalby’s Delicious & DeLIGHTful Festival

Dalby’s Delicious and DeLIGHTful Festival is held on the fourth weekend in August biennially. It is Dalby’s signature event and grows each year. We look forward to seeing you in 2025.
The festival will include a Friday night event to be announced.

The Saturday festival begins with a Welcome Flag Parade focusing on the diversity of the community leading into the Citizenship Ceremony. 
The point of difference at this festival is the unique Lantern Parade held at night where hundreds of individual and large lanterns built by the community are featured.
People can taste amazing cultural food,  browse the  range of market stalls, get involved in the Colour Frenzy Fun- Run,  join roving entertainers trying out your skills. There’s an amazing children’s area. 
Multicultural entertainment will include the colourful Multicultural Dance Competition with stunning costumes as well a range of cultural performers. 
 “Our Community Platter”  will be showcased with Celebrity Chef, Jan Cranitch, featuring local produce such as cereals, pulses and more. The Family Fun Show-off, Cook-off  was such a hit they are running it and extending it again.
