Waking the Statues: Craig Dongoski at the Hellenic Museum

Waking the Statues is a collection of new and existing works by Atlanta-based Craig Dongoski. Weaving together Greek antiquity with the coded languages in this digital age, Dongoski blurs the boundary between creator and creation.
Through his hypnotic approach built on rhythmic repetition of dots, dashes and circle, Dongoski’s art becomes a portal – alive with visual static, symbolism and subconscious revelation.
In this immersive exhibition, archaic forms converse with Morse and binary codes. Myth meets modernity, and viewers are encouraged to follow their own intuitive paths.
Waking the Statues is ultimately a meditation on transformation, exploring how artists and perception shape the world, and how ancient stories endure through time.
