Time to party with Thomas the Tank Engine! Join in for a day of fun and unforgettable memories as they celebrate 80 years of Thomas and Friends™ at Puffing Billy Railway with the Day Out with Thomas™: Party Tour!
Join Thomas and Friends™ for one of three weekends in March where you can meet your favourite storybook characters and enjoy a steam train adventure! Hop on board with James the Red Engine and Diesel for a 20-minute scenic ride from Lakeside to Cockatoo and feel the thrill as those wheels turn and that iconic whistle sounds. For those feeling more adventurous, try dangling your legs from the carriage sill* for an unforgettable touch of fun! This fun-filled journey lasts 50 minutes, including a short stop at Cockatoo.
The excitement doesn’t end when the train ride does! Meet Sir Topham Hatt and Thomas at the bustling Lakeside Visitor Centre, get creative at the Celebration Station, have fun in the Play Pod, or pose for a picture with the famous blue engine, Troublesome Truck, or Bulgy Bus.
Each young fan will also receive a Day Out With Thomas™ activity booklet and their very own Junior Engineer’s Certificate!
