A local group of fibre artists who meet every week in the Eric and Rachel Potter Memorial Building in the grounds of the Land of the Beardies History House Museum and Research Centre.
They offer free tuition in spinning and (depending who is there on the day) can also offer guidance on many of the other fibre arts.
A love of creating with fibre is all that is required.
BYO food and beverages.
Visitors to this beautiful town are also welcome to just pop in for a chat and see how yarn was created and then transformed into apparel before the Industrial Revolution.
