Dogwood Crossing is the cultural heart of the community, inspiring and entertaining those who visit. The award-winning building has become a cultural icon for the region with its seven-metre tall stylised steel bottle trees forming a colonnade down the centre of the facility. The modern climate controlled environment is a welcoming place for locals and visitors to learn, explore, connect and enjoy.
Dogwood Crossing includes: an Art Gallery with A class regional standards and facilities to host national touring exhibitions. Six to eight local and touring exhibitions are hosted each year.
A Library forming part of a regional service to community. Locals and travellers are welcome to read a selection of papers and magazines available while resting and relaxing in the library’s cool and comfortable surrounds.
An IT Centre offering public the use of the latest computer facilities and a free wireless hot spot available throughout the Centre. Public access terminals allow people to surf the net, chat to friends, pursue studies and play games. The IT Centre also offers word processing, printing, copying and scanning at reasonable prices.
